It'd be my forever best Korean spot to go with cozy vibe and authentic Korean food. Even the waitresses remembered me and welcomed me with their smiling faces though sometimes they had to deal with other stuff first (it's indeed a rare sight if you go to Asian elder places). The food? No word truly described how well they were with rich and powerful flavor as I tried almost all dishes here (I'm not exaggerating) with plenty of banchan (they were a lot more before COVID-19). I loved their banchan and they always willing to refill many times without complain! They deserved to be known more, so I always tried to recommend to my friends instead of gatekeeping this spot. However, I didn't know what happened though I'm used to proud to be their loyal customer. To see this spot gone without any news, it hit me very hard.

This small mom-n-pop Korean restaurant has all the right homecooking and big portions meant for any hungry customer to leave satisfied. My husband and I were craving a hot comforting meal because of the cold weather and the food and service we received did not disappoint. The parking lot is small shared with other restaurants and you'll not be able to fit a large group if the restaurant is full. We went a couple hours before closing and it was fine, will come back since their steamed egg is the largest and most flavorful with a lot of pepper (perhaps a little too much) which was different from the blandness from other more well-known chains.

Excellent Korean food - we had Kalbi Tang - Kimchi Stew and took home duc mandu guk. All were yummy even the condiments and Kimchi. We live in south OC and typically go to Irvine yet this place is better and we'll return. It's not fancy yet is good home cooked Korean meal. Yummy!!!

I've order twice from this place. Very, very mom and pop. Mom and Pop to the point that it's wonderful. I feels like the food was made with a lot of love and more importantly it tastes great. It's shops that this and highlighting them that make me feel good about writing about them. I had different things and all of them were great. Highly recommend for a visit. Only thing that sucks is the parking.

Let's just say I've found another go-to spot for Korean foods. The cold noodles were super refreshing and plentiful. It came with two halves hard boiled eggs. Delicious for these hot summer days! The bulgogi was well-flavored and nicely charred. It didn't taste too greasy nor salty. I really enjoyed it. But the thing that will makes me want to come back is the customer service. The lady serving us was so niceee. She was smiling the whole time and refilled our water. Such an underrated mom & pop shop. Definitely come check them out!

After 5+ years, finally came back again! I am so glad this place survived the pandemic and the food is still as good as before! Love their banchans, especially their kimchi! It is truly a hole in the wall, small Korean restaurant tucked in an alley. I will definitely be coming back again to support this mom and pop place!

Pretty good food overall! My favorites sides were the fish cake and cucumber. Honestly wasn't a fan of the kimchi here. The tofu soup was yummy and the kimchi fried rice was great too. Service was great, the staff is extremely nice. Parking isn't too bad. Small restaurant, about 6 tables inside. Worth a try! Definitely recommend.

Google Maps made it tricky to find but it was worth it! Small parking lot in a small strip mall. It is small inside. Omg, best banchan ever! I normally avoid the potato salad but i ate this one. The server was so kind and attentive and brought me more too. I had leftover yukaejang and requested more rice (the purple kind) and she didn't even charge me for it. The yukaejang was great too. I was distracted by the banchan though.

The owner was super friendly and smiley! Loved the banchan dishes. Tried the clam tofu soup with purple rice (black rice) oyster dolsot bibimbap. Both were healthy and delicious. I would definitely come back with my kids next time...great selection of Korean comfort food and wonderful owner! :) Parking lot is a bit tiny but plenty of free street parking.

This place is one of those little hidden hole-in-the wall type gems, with limited tables, no-frills decor, but oh boy....amazingly hot and fresh, well prepared, and really delicious authentic Korean food......that's oh so comforting! Service was excellent as well with the very nice and hard-working lady hectically running around making sure their diners are happy, well taken care of, and well fed. The menu has so many seriously delicious sounding dishes, but with just the two of us dining here, we managed to narrow down our choices to just two dishes.....the Seafood and Green Onion Pancake (my fave Korean dish) and the Braised Spicy Chicken. While we waited for these main dishes to be prepared, we were served the traditional variety of Korean sides, and they were all so fresh, well prepared, and delicious.....of which we had a couple of rounds of. Definitely some of the best we've eaten......and we've eaten a lot! As for the main dishes.....loved them both! The seafood pancake was thick full of ingredients and had a wonderful crisp on top....because we requested that it be crisped a bit more....so yummee good! One of the best Korean pancakes I have ever had. As for the braised spicy chicken ......oh my.....kind of like a home-cooked stew....with wonderful flavors, made with fresh ingredients, just the right spiciness, and chicken so moist and tender.... a very well prepared and satisfying comfort dish, and it went so well with a bowl of their hot and steaming bowl of brown rice. Needless to say, we filled up pretty quick as the portion sizes were quite big....so we gladly packed the leftovers to take home. We are seriously glad we discovered this little place as it's truly legit as far as quality, freshness, and deliciousness go. I can quite confidently say that this is perhaps the best Korean food I have ever eaten anywhere, and we will most definitely be back soon to try all their other yummy dishes.
